The roadrunner is an inhabitant of the southwest deserts.
The roadrunner is found in most of the southwest. Quick and deadly predators, they feast on lizards and snakes. While known as a streamlined runner, they also fly. I have seen them on the tops of Saguaro cactus that can reach 35 feet tall. I used a surreal color approach for this painting. They are surreal fowl.
