Portraits
Portraits of people created by fine artists have been around for millenniums. Recording visual images of humans for posterity, remembrance, or decorations is one of the oldest reasons artists created art. Drawn on paper, painted in oils, acrylics, watercolors, or sculpted in stone or ceramics, we can see human beings from centuries past to the present in these fine art mediums.
