The western open range offers stories of hard work, heroism, romanticism, and beauty. With this painting series I seek to use a variant of the tryptych concept (painting split into three separate images) to let the viewer conjure up their own story of how these three creatures in the piece that work the range are interacting and why. I painted this in an impressionistic, realistic, yet contemporary style. Cowboy art is a favorite art genre of mine. Putting my own stylistic spin on cowboy art images I hope keeps the genre current with collectors who love the western imagery as much as I do.
